Final Spring 2008 Schedule

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Finals run from Thursday, May 15, 2007 through Wednesday, May 21, 2008.  

Test Accommodation Request Forms for finals were due April 15, 2008 This deadline has passed!If you did not turn in your requests by this date, you will be placed on a “Wait List.”

Due to the large number of exams to be administered….

Space is extremely limited. The DRC asks that you not reschedule your assigned accommodations.

Students who submitted late accommodation requests were placed with a time and location closest to their request. Therefore, if you cannot find your final on the day you requested, please check the other days before calling the DRC.

In an effort to provide all the prescribed accommodations such as computers, private rooms, readers, scribes, and adaptive software dates and/or times may have been modified. If your assigned date and/or time were modified please inform your professor of the change. If the change does not meet with your professor’s approval please speak with your professor to see if he/she could provide you with an accommodation.

NEW THIS SEMESTER: DRC has assigned seats. Please do not attempt to change the seat assignment the day of the exam.

The DRC will be preparing for final exams on Study Day Wednesday, May 14th, behind closed doors.  There will be no exams scheduled or administered on this day nor will the DRC administer final exams after Wednesday, May 21st.   This applies to make-up exam day, as well.   

STUDENTS – INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DAY OF EXAM:

  • Have a picture ID.

  • The use of books, rulers, compasses, calculator, dictionaries, notes, and/or highlighter etc. are prohibited during exam; unless otherwise written on the accommodation form. While taking the exam, the students should have nothing on their desks except the test, essay booklet, answer sheets, and pen/pencils.

Gather yourself and belongings prior to entering the exam room. There are others testing and noise and distraction needs to be kept to a minimum. For example: if your exam only allows the use of a calculator, walk into the exam room holding a pen/pencil and a calculator. Everything else should be packed and ready to be dropped off by the proctor station. 

  • Smoking, eating, and drinking are not permitted in the testing room; unless approved by the accommodation form.
  • All electronic and/or recording devices are to be turned off and put away. This includes cell phones, alarm clocks, personal digital assistants, pager, hand held computers, and ipods/mp3 players.

Be prepared to leave all personal belongings by the proctor including: purses, bookbags, laptops, hats/caps, jackets/sweaters, coffee mugs, cell phones, and any other items the proctor deems inappropriate for the exam. If you do not want to part with such items then please do not bring them.

  • DRC proctors will collect all testing materials prior to dismissal: exam, essay booklets, scantrons, and/or scratch paper.
  • Know the location. For your finals, the exam location can be one of 6 locations: ADMIN 110, ADMIN 114, ATC, IS 239 or IS 223.
  • Arrive to your scheduled exam on time.
