PDF Aloud

A document reader which is designed to read Portable Document Format (PDF) files.  PDF Aloud merges with the Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader toolbar discreetly and simply, and allows users with literacy difficulties to comprehend the information by transferring the text to an audio format. Note: Only works with Adobe Reader 8 or lower version.

Adobe Reader (Read Out Loud Feature)

  1. Open the PDF file.

  2. Click On View -> Read out loud -> Read this page only or Read to the end of document

Click On View then click Read out loud then click Read this page only or click Read to the end of document

3. Click on View -> Read out loud -> Pause  to pause

To change the reading speed and pitch click on Edit -> Preference -> Reading

then just uncheck the use default speech attributes to change the setting.
