Awards Program - 2007

In April of 2007, the Disability Resource Center celebrated the 29th Annual Awards Recognition Program & Gala Scholarship Fundraiser with the theme, “A Retrospective on Disability.” In celebration of the event, the Disability Resource Center hosted eight workshops to promote disability awareness among SJSU students, faculty and staff and also hosted a soothing afternoon blues musical performance by the Lara Price Band. The evening Awards Program featured Master of Ceremonies Professor Mike Adams and Keynote Speaker Dr. Paul K. Longmore, Professor of History and Director of the Institute on Disability at San Francisco State University.
