Tribute to Our Colleague, Dr. Gonzaga da Gama (1962-2009)

We were all shocked and extremely saddened by the news of Professor Gonzaga da Gama’s passing away unexpectedly on June 29, 2009 while travelling abroad in Kenya.  

Gonzaga was an advocate for the disabled community. He served as a member of the Accommodations Review Board (ARB) and also a member of the Accessible Health & Wellness Subcommittee. The members of these committees along with the staff of the Disability Resource Center will forever miss his commitment and sincere dedication to the our campus community members with disabilities. But most of all, we will miss his smile.
