DRC Service Levels Affected

Due to budget reductions, the DRC and all its programs and offices will be making adjustments in their services, including:

  • Academic Accommodations

  • Academic Advisement

  • Adaptive Technology Center (ATC)

  • Alternative Media Center (AMC)

  • Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHOH) Center

  • Information Technology

  • Retention Services Program

  • DRC Testing Center

  • ADA Compliance Office

  • Employment Accommodations Resource Center (EARC)

Examples of adjustments include: lunch hour closure, closure on furlough days, reduced hours in the ATC, AMC, and Testing Center, reduced and/or longer waiting times for academic advising and counseling appointments, and less student services support for accommodations and services.

A more detailed description of the levels and types of services that will be affected will be forthcoming and communicated to the campus community in early October.
