Standardized Testing

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) collaborates with the Testing and Evaluation Department to administer standardized testing to students register with the DRC who have a documented disability. The English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry Level Math Test (ELM) are required to qualify for appropriate course work in order to satisfy specific General Education requirements. We also administer the Writing Skills Test (WST) which may be required of all undergraduate and graduate students prior to enrollment in 100W courses.

Deadlines for testing with accommodations differ from those set by the Testing and Evaluation Department. DRC deadlines are approximately one month prior to the test date. Students will need to meet with a DRC counselor to set up accommodations prior to DRC deadlines. For specific dates, deadlines, and other important information link on the corresponding links for EPT/ELM or WST. Once a DRC counselor sets up testing accommodations the DRC will forward a registration list to the Testing and Evaluation Department.
