Disabled Parking

Accessible parking spaces are provided throughout the San Jose State University (SJSU) campus. SJSU parking permits are required when using these spaces. For more information on where these spaces are or how to obtain permits please use this link or contact Traffic & Parking: http://www2.sjsu.edu/parking/index.html

Access the Disabled Parking Lot @ 7th St. and San Fernando

A key card is necessary to gain access to Lot #1 located at 7th & San Fernando. To apply for a key card, students, faculty and staff must submit an application to Traffic and Parking Operations located in the 7th Street Garage; applications may be obtained in the DRC or at Traffic and Parking Operations. DRC is unable to accept applications or issue keys.

If you have not yet obtained an access card, disabled parking is available in Lot 3 (between Engineering and Industrial Studies), in the 7th Street Garage, or the 4th Street Garage.

If you have obtained a key card, but the electronic gate malfunctions, or if you have a legitimate need to enter the lot, dial "444" to be connected to the DRC or use the intercom on the gate to contact the University Police Department (UPD).

Please contact the UPD at (408) 924-2222 with questions or concerns.
